Each week a small group of students join together with young men from Dale who have severe learning difficulties but are physically active to varying degrees. We play football with them, which they enjoy immensely. Our role is to motivate and encourage them and to support them actively in the game. As active players we control the passing of the ball to give them the maximum chance to be involved and especially to score goals. It is important to try to communicate even though our Norwegian might be poor. It is active and great fun. Strong friendships develop.
